Five modern family-friendly holiday homes plus an elegant large house to rent. A place where kids can play and parents can relax. This friendly rural retreat is located in sunny Charente-Maritime in south west France between the stunning coastline of La Rochelle, Ile de Re and Royan and the picturesque countryside of Saintes and Cognac.
We offer a large enclosed pool with bar, on-site kids' club, football pitch, playgrounds, sandpit, zip wire, free bikes, huge games store and weekly summer events.

Gites
There are five family friendly gites, as well as the Main House, all set amongst ten acres of relaxing rural grounds. You may find it a struggle to leave for your planned day trips!
Each gite comes fully furnished, and includes a fully-fitted kitchen and individual bathroom. There is a large communal courtyard around which each property is located, providing a social space for children and adults alike.

Facilities
There are many facilities at Mirabelle to keep the whole family entertained. From the large pool with all-weather cover that you can swim under, to the football pitch, playgrounds, zip-wire, free bikes and games, there really is something for everyone
The 25m zip wire is often a highlight for the children, and at the weekly barbecue, we leave the swimming pool open and turn the pool-lights on so as the children can enjoy a night-swim while the adults relax.

Activities
We also run a programme of free and optional paid events throughout the summer including BBQ night, night swim, horse-riding and Kids Club.
Days Out
Located in Charente-Maritime, South West France, and with Asnieres la Giraud, Saintes, and Saint Jean d'Angeley nearby, there is always somewhere new for the family to explore.
We also operate a weekly horse-riding excursion, open to both children and adults.
Beaches
If you fancy a family day at the beach, the only problem you might face is choosing which one to go to!
There are several child-friendly beaches only a short drive away.
Local Countryside
We have some of the most beautiful countryside in south west France right on our doorstep. The local area around Charente-Maritime is home to some spectacular sunflower fields - perfect for taking a family cycle ride through!
